This exhibit was designed for Jennette's Pier in Nags Head, North Carolina.
The Pier was originally built in 1939 and has been destroyed and re-built various times.
It has been re-constructed as a state-of-the-art, LEED certified,1,000-foot concrete pier
and 16,000-square-foot pier house. It reopened on May 21, 2011 as a fishing pier
and educational facility operated by the North Carolina Aquarium Society.
